Lindsey Council, FNP

Family Nurse Practitioner located in Denton, TX

Lindsey Council is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma. She first developed a love for women’s health while working as a nurse in labor and delivery for four and a half years at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She has over 10 years of experience in women’s health. 

In addition to her extensive clinical experience, Lindsey has an outstanding academic background as a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma Nursing program. She was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and graduated in the top of her class in the family nurse practitioner program at Samford University. 

Lindsey believes in providing women with individualized, quality care through health promotion, education, and counseling.  Lindsey strives to build a long lasting and trusting relationship with patients by taking the time to listen and understand each patient’s particular needs. Her patients often tell her they appreciate the time she takes to explain the care that would be best for them and believes that she has happier patients because of this. Patients trust they are well taken care of.


Lindsey is also dedicated to remaining up to date on current advances in medicine to be able to provide the most up to date evidence based care. Lindsey has extensive training and experience in all women’s health needs including well woman exams, abnormal menstrual cycles or uterine bleeding, STD screenings and treatments, pelvic pain, traditional hormone replacement therapy as well as hormone pellet therapy, along with many other obstetric and gynecological  female conditions.

When Lindsey is not with patients, she enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and traveling. She currently resides in Flower Mound, TX with her husband and three children.
